Le Casset
Grades: from 3 to 6b bouldering - Access: On right after village of Le Casset on way to Le Lautaret. Numerous granite blocks for bouldering.

La Petite Casse
Grades: from 3 to 6b bouldering - Access: Les Guibertes road towards Briançon. On right, walk up through field at foot of pine forest.

La Grande Casse
Grades: from 3 to 5 - Access: Chemin des Espagnols, piste side. – 15m height gain. Limestone boulders roughly 150m from Charvet. 15mins.

Puy Maubert
Grades: from 3 to 6c - Access: 3km from Le Monêtier on way to Le Lautaret, 300m after Le Casset road on right. Several 15-25m limestone crags. Excellent equipment. Around 30 routes

Falaises de l’Eperon
Grades: from 3 to 6b – Access: 1km after Le Pont de l’Alpe on right – Path to cliff, 25mins. Very interesting climbing.

Les Lauzières
Grades: from 6 to 7b. – Access: 1km after Le Pont de l’Alpe on right of Eperon. – Several equipped routes, between TD and ED; right-hand routes are shorter but harder.

Access free – Level: not very hard and hard - Access: 20mins from top of Chantemerle cablecar - Via ferrata: 105m height gain - Total time: 2hrs. Two routes for 2 levels of ability. Extra info: rock looks out over Serre Chevalier from an altitude of 2475m.

Access free - Level: easy - Access: 30mins from Villeneuve - Via ferrata: 75m height gain - Total time: 2hrs. Really nice little via ferrata, suitable for everyone (equipment not too spaced apart makes it good for kids). Extra info: one section actually goes inside cliff itself.

Monêtier les Bains
Pointe des Neyzets

Access free - Level: easy - Access: 40mins from top of Bachas chairlift - Via ferrata: 400m height gain - Total time: 4-5hrs. Easy, new route on vertiginous ridge. Extra info: real high-mountain feel. Views of Dôme de Monêtier glacier. Top at altitude of 2662m.

L’Aiguillette du Lauzet
Access free - Level: not very hard - Access: 1hr from Le Pont de l’Alpe - Via ferrata: 500m height gain - Total time: 5-6hrs. Great vertical hike that’s a real day’s outing and finishes up on an elegant 2600m summit. Extra info: descent through a veritable marmot playground.
